Internships. Trial or Experience?

This paper is made up of three parts.

Firstly, we explore general graduate confidence levels on securing a job after leaving university.

Secondly, we ask students about internships, vacation schemes and industrial placements and the perceived benefits these schemes offer.

Thirdly, in line with the recent government announcement of the National Internship Scheme designed to help unemployed university leavers develop their employability we asked students what they think about this initiative.
