Job analysis and competency design

How do we go about it? We analyse the skills and behaviours needed to be a great performer and document these in a competency model. This is the foundation for the whole recruitment process. We then work with this model to design all selection tools required by your business and to help you identify the most suitable candidates
Psychometric tests
In addition to interviews and assessment centres we can also use a range of psychometric tests and personality measures, to identify your candidates' natural talents, where their future potential lies, and how that works for your organisation. And as an independent supplier we choose the tools that are best for your business.
Situational judgement questionnaires
A situational judgement questionnaire is an online sifting tool aimed at assessing candidates’ motivational fit and competence for a specific role. It’s quick and easy to complete and provides a great realistic job preview.
We can either design an SJQ or, if you’d prefer, assess and advise on the SJQ you’ve already got.
Interview design
Telephone interviews are particularly effective at screening for competencies such as communication and motivational fit. They are also really useful for high-volume roles, acting as a low-cost screening tool and ensuring only good-quality candidates get through to later stages.

Assessment centres
Assessment centres are probably the most effective selection method. We can develop a range of bespoke assessment centre tools for you, from work simulation exercises and presentations to group discussions and analysis exercises.
In addition, we can manage the assessment centre itself and ensure candidates receive a first-rate experience. We are able to provide you with assessors as well as an Assessment Suite to hold the day.
