Legal and Public Notices
The proof is in the advertising
Our focus is knowledgeable service
Originally started in 1812 by George Reynell, the business has been through five or six generations of Reynells since then. George used to work at the London Gazette and was always being asked about advertising, so he set up his own business.
Reynells dealt primarily with legal advertising which is what we still focus on today. Bankruptcy cases, insolvency cases, notices of deaths under the Trustee Act - the sort of ads you don't want to place, but legally have to! We are a distress service, but when clients do need us, we're here.
Legal advertising accounts for a substantial volume of adverts placed by TMP, so as a volume business, we represent a significant focus for the company. And because of the nature of the business - a distress purchase - our focus is on providing a knowledgeable, comprehensive and up to date service to our clients. These kinds of notices have to appear correctly.
Changes in legislation – such as the April 2010 changes to insolvency advertising legislation, introducing standard contents for all insolvency notices – are analysed and the effect on our clients explained. We don’t just place advertising – we help and advise you as a trusted partner.
We don't make high profile ads that take us to awards dinners. In fact our clients would probably be happier if our ads generated no response at all. The key is reliability and efficiency. Our success in those key areas means most of our business comes through recommendation and referral.
