HSBC Candidate Contact Strategy

While talent banking is an essential step for any resourcing team on their journey towards direct sourcing, the most important step is defining how to communicate with talent bank candidates.  Not only does all communication need to reinforce brand messaging, it also needs to be relevant – to engage with the candidates, and to maintain and improve on their relationship with their future employer.

 

When HSBC launched their talent bank in 2008, TMP defined how to best populate it with the most relevant candidates and developed a strategy for HSBC to manage the relationship. To complement this we produced a full suite of creative material that, with a strong brand message carried through from attraction material to careers site, ensured a seamless candidate experience.

 

The talent bank continues to grow, and our strategy is proving to be deliverable, repeatable - and successful. As well as being very well received by HSBC, it has produced positive results that continue to improve over time.
