Solving the puzzle
Attracting graduates to the nuclear industry
Graduate employers have to do something a bit special if they really want to stand out from the crowd.
Take our client, Sellafield Ltd. Our research showed us that they had not always enjoyed a high profile among potential graduate recruits. So we devised a strategy to ensure they would.
It involved blitzing specially selected campuses and careers fairs at various locations around the UK.
One of the highlights of the events was a giant-sized tangram, which we designed and which students were invited to play with. (A tangram - literally meaning "seven boards of skill" - is an old Chinese puzzle, in which pieces have to be arranged to form a specific shape.)
Sellafield representatives were on hand to time the results, with the quickest solver of each day earning themselves a special prize.
