Introduction 

We're on the hunt for a Strategy Manager, Digital & Social with a rich agency background, creative flair, and deep knowledge of digital innovation, including a keen interest in web3, blockchain, AI, and beyond.

The Role

In your role as Strategy Manager, Digital & Social you'll navigate the digital landscape with dexterity and foresight, leveraging insights, research, and planning to craft 360-degree client solutions that turn heads and make an impact. You will act as a trusted advisor to our clients and support in developing communications strategies to get our clients noticed and help them become employers of choice.

You will:

  • Lead the strategic direction of projects, focusing on delivering innovative solutions that combine traditional and digital strategies.
  • Utilise market insights and consumer behaviour analysis to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Drive the development and execution of strategic plans, ensuring they meet client objectives and deliver on key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with creative and account management teams to ensure strategies are insight-led and seamlessly integrated across all touchpoints.
  • Play a key role in pitching strategies to clients, utilising persuasive communication skills to convey the value and vision of proposed solutions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the strategy team, encouraging the adoption of new methodologies and technologies.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and shifts, incorporating fresh insights into strategic planning to keep our clients at the forefront of their sectors.
  • Stay informed and advocate for industry best practices, emerging technology and trends
  • Lead internal/external workshops and training sessions to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
  • Represent the agency in industry events and conferences, showcasing thought leadership and expertise in social media and digital strategy.

Who we're looking for

We're seeking an individual with a knack for creative problem solving, who relishes the challenge of crafting end-to-end strategic solutions. Someone who is an adept communicator, able to articulate complex ideas in a way that inspires and persuades. Key experience required:

  • Proven experience in strategic planning and insights within a dynamic agency setting or a related industry.
  • A track record of developing and implementing successful strategies that span both traditional and digital.
  • Expertise in conducting social listening research, competitive analysis, and consumer behaviour studies.
  • Experience in leading strategy sessions, workshops, and client pitches, with a strong ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and compellingly.
  • A history of working closely with cross-functional teams to bring strategic visions to life, ensuring alignment across all project phases.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, providing strategic guidance and building trust.
  • Demonstrated ability to align digital strategies with clients' business goals and objectives.
  • Experience and desire to pitch.
  • Strong understanding of various insights tools (Brandwatch, GWI, Sprinklr), social media platforms, digital marketing tactics, and analytics.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, their functionalities, and best practices for audience engagement.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • A solid understanding of web3, blockchain, and AI technologies.
  • An insatiable curiosity about evolving digital trends and technology.
