Solution
What we delivered
After extensive research and sifting, TMP sourced a new media partner for Essex CC. The contract is split between several publishers, each at a greatly reduced rate card cost. The estimated annual savings are in excess of £500K.
Alongside this, we produced detailed coverage information to ensure the most appropriate media is always being selected. The contract performance is monitored monthly and through ongoing quarterly review meetings with key stakeholders. This not only allows us to identify further cost savings, it means we can continue to refine internal processes, improve the service we provide, and take a more innovative and strategic approach to how Essex advertises their notices county-wide.

And a happy client
“Statutory notice rates have traditionally been difficult to reduce in cost – after all, councils have no choice but to place them – but Essex County Council is always resolute in its pursuit of best value for money and savings council taxpayers’ money. In a ground-breaking deal, ECC has been able to negotiate savings of more than £7million by working with TMP to change the way it advertises statutory notices.”
Richard Puleston, Assistant Chief Executive and Director of Strategic Services, Essex County Council
